The Northwest Missouri State Bearcat women's basketball team returned to action last Friday, November 29th when they traveled to St. Joseph to compete in the Missouri Western Thanksgiving Classic at the Missouri Western Fieldhouse.
Northwest took a 3-2 record into the match with Florida Southern,which was 4-2. Bearcat head coach Austin Meyer said the Moccasins were coming off a good season a year ago in which they made it to the NCAA Division Two South Region Championship game.
The Northwest Missouri State Bearcats defeated the Florida Southern Mocs 52-37, in their first game of the MWSU Thanksgiving Classic.
